Projects
The community desired both street and transition elements, but their budget was just shy of properly providing their needs. With the city’s support, the community applied and was awarded the Tony Hawk Foundation grant. Team Pain reached out to vendors for donations and used media outlets to help spread the word to help the skate park! Together the project was able to grow in size to an 8,000 sf skate park. The bowl is multi-level with pool coping, tile and steel coping, escalators, extension, 5 corners and two awesome hips! The street course came out unreal! There are quarter pipes, hips, china banks, textured banks, the Skate art repurposed, tons of rails and ledges, jersey barriers, and on one of the rails is an actual piece of rail road track. Our Team is very proud of the end result for both its community effort and functional design.
