We’ve mobilized on-site and are beginning to cut forms with a small crew while the rest of the guys are finishing up the Fort Walton Beach Bowl. The day before yesterday a sewer pipe was discovered slowing down the excavation work onsite. The city will be capping off that line a rerouting it later to not slow up construction onsite. We are working onsite from the south end of the park to the north end starting off with the street course. From the west end of the park you will see a mellow quarter pipe that acts as both a drop into the street section and a roll in into the small snake run. The Shark fin granite ledge, down manual pad and rail will be a hit going down the bank as well as the triple bank to bank sculpture feature. Dropping down into the next level is a combo manual pad with ledges that is perfect for tons of tricks with equipped with a flatbar and ledge laid out next to it. Moving eastward there’s a small 4 stair handrail and ledge combo setup, hips, a sick a-frame rail, handicap kicker and other optional ledges. To the south there is a long quarter pipe that flows over onto the top banks that will create tons of options going up, down or into the banks. The East side of the park has a tall tranny to bank wall perfect for flip tricks and getting speed to hit the kicker to flat that has a cool radius bank to ledge built into it.
